Honest Sudoku — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-09-19 · Last updated: 2026-09-23
Honest Sudoku (package com.honestarcade.sudoku), published by Honest Arcade,
collects no data. None.
- The app has no network access. The Android package requests no
permissions at all — the INTERNET permission included — so it is technically
incapable of sending anything anywhere. This is enforced by an automated test
and by a scan of every built bundle, and you can verify it yourself: the app
is open source at https://github.com/honestarcade/HonestSudoku.
- No personal information, identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports,
advertising IDs, or diagnostics are collected, stored, shared, or sold — by
us or by any third party. The app is built with Flutter and contains no
advertising, analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs of any kind, and
no plugin with network access. Nothing in the app can transmit data
regardless, because it holds no INTERNET permission.
- Your puzzle in progress, your statistics (solves, streaks, best and average
times) and your settings are saved only on your device, and the app
never sends them anywhere. Android’s own backup feature may copy the app’s
saved files to your Google account backup and restore them on a new phone;
Honest Arcade never receives them. Uninstalling the app deletes them from
the phone.
- The app shows no ads and contains no purchases.
- Children’s privacy: since no data is collected from anyone, no data is
collected from children.
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for you to request a copy of or
ask us to delete — but questions are always welcome.
